Two New Boxes

Here are a couple of boxes that I made after watching Brandy’s video here: http://brandyscards.com/stampin-up-videos/?tubepress_page=1 called Paper Gift Box With Brandy. Brandy used a retired Stampin’ Up! Die that I don’t have. So, I used these dimensions. For the top I cut the card stock at 11 x 5 1/2″, and placed the 11″ at the top of the Simply Scored and scored at 3/4″, 3 3/4″, 5 7/8″, 8 7/8″. I then turned the paper a quarter turn and scored at 1 1/2″. The bottom was cut at 10 3/4″ x 6 1/2″. Score at 1″, 4″, 5 7/8″ & 8 7/8″. Turn & score at 1 1/2″. At the center of the red flower I placed one of the new “Frosted Finishes Embellishments” from the Holiday catalog which comes out in August. I LOVE these!

Brandy’s Color Challenge #6

This weeks colors were Soft Sky, Wisteria Wonder & Sahara Sand. I have been having a lot of fun lately making boxes and flowers. I really like this box because you can access the inside from the bottom. And you don’t have to untie the bow.

For the flower I used 3 of the Blossom punch, 3 of the Pansy punch & one of the 1 3/4 scallop circle. I cut the scallop punch into a spiral and then rolled it into a rose. The Blossom & Pansy punches, I spritzed with water and scrunched them up in my hand. Then I carefully unfolded them and dried them with my embossing gun. Then I just layered them, adding the rose to the top. I was pleased with how it turned out. The leaves were made with the Bird Builder punch.

Brandy’s Color Challenge

Colors this week were Chocolate Chip, Soft Sky & Wild Wasabi. After making the card it was too thick with the flower, to fit in an envelope. So, I made a matching box. Be sure to click the “follow button” for updates. Thanks for stopping by!

Love You Much

I think I saw this card on Pinterest. I fell in love with it and had to CASE it. I used Pink Pirouette and Pear Pizzaz. I made the roses using the 2 3/8 scallop punch.

This was made for this weeks color challenge using Gumball Green, So Saffron, & Melon Mambo.

Red, White & Blue

This card was made for a red, white & blue color challenge. The colors I used were Cherry Cobbler, Midnight Muse & Whisper White. Stamp set is Mosaic Madness, and I used the matching punch.

Gift Box With Matching Cards

This box was an inspiration from Brandy Cox. It is so beautiful and will make a nice gift (if I can part with it). I used Delicate Doilies stamp set. All supplies are from Stampin’ Up!
